Physiotherapy in Banbury
The Horton Treatment Centre Physiotherapy
department offers patients the highest quality of professional care
in a safe and caring environment offering a range of treatments
individual to patients needs.
We offer a comprehensive rehabilitation
program for patients following elective orthopaedic surgery plus
providing a complete package of care to our outpatients. This
combines a full physiotherapy assessment with education and
self-help programmes alongside conventional physiotherapy as
indicated.
The Physiotherapy Department is well equipped
with 3 treatment areas and an air conditioned gym for
rehabilitation. All staff are experienced Chartered
Physiotherapists and registered with the Health Professions
Council, with support from a Physiotherapy assistant. There
is close communication with other members of the clinical team
including Consultants and the Radiology department.
Although the majority of patients are seen
following elective orthopaedic surgery performed at this unit,
Consultant and private referrals are welcomed.

Referrals
The department accepts referrals from both GPs
and consultants but you can also refer yourself for treatment if
you are self-paying. Please note that we require 24 hours’ notice
if you would like to cancel your appointment, so that we may offer
it to another patient.
Cost of Private Physiotherapy
The length of your treatment session will
vary, depending on your clinical needs, from 30 - 60 minutes. The
charge will include time taken to record your assessment and
treatment details, in accordance with our strict professional
guidelines on the standard of documentation.
